Athletes and coaches, we are excited to host you on Saturday, October 5 for the 2019 State Flag Football Tournament in Neenah!
Below is key information regarding your competition:
Chaperones & Agency Volunteers
Each Agency is to bring enough responsible individuals to the event to handle your team’s needs, such as during the games, in restrooms, during lunch, etc. We are unable to provide volunteers for such assistance. Be sure that your chaperones/volunteers are registered as a SOWI Class A Volunteer, as required.

Tournament Central
Tournament Central will be located under the large white tent on the grass behind the school.
Roster & Scratches
Coaches and/agency managers have been sent a copy of their team roster. Please carefully check it for accuracy to be sure all of your athletes are correctly listed. Please contact the Tournament Director, Jody LaPlante, at (920) 731-1614 or jlaplante@specialolympicswisconsin.org if there is an error. An individual not included on the entry form may not be added to your roster.

If for any reason you decide to remove your team from the State Tournament, please contact Tournament Director, Jody LaPlante, at (920) 731-1614 or jlaplante@specialolympicswisconsin.org
Official Scorecards
The head coach from each team will receive two copies of your team’s Official Roster in your Check-in Pack. LEGIBLY PRINT your players’ jersey numbers next to each athlete’s name. Turn the card in to your field’s score table.
Uniforms & Equipment
Any team member(s) in non-compliance with the rules regarding Uniforms and Equipment as stated in your Competition Guide will be penalized as documented. As a reminder, numbers located only on the back of the uniform are acceptable this year only. Do not allow athletes on the field without proper uniforms. All teams must bring their own belts.
Equipment Storage & Valuables
The school will be available for teams (please no ball throwing or games inside the school). Each Agency is responsible for bringing all other team equipment needed, and to protect and/or lock up their valuable/personal items. Special Olympics WI is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
